Welcome to Spin and Go Poker Tournaments!

Do you want to know everything about SPINS tournaments, the game mode that sweeps through online poker?

Spin & Go Poker are very fast and dynamic
tournaments with multipliers that allow to increase the final prize. In this type of PPPoker tournaments 3 players can participate and only one of them will be the winner.

For example:

         Buy – in : 1$
         Multiplier: x100
Prize for the winner of the Spin: $100

Spins are the kings of rooms and the modality per excellence of online poker players, since the opportunity to win large sums with very small tickets is a great attraction. The first room to celebrate them known was Pokerstars with its so-called Spins & Go Poker. There are different varieties and formats of SPINS (NLH, PLOH) and, depending on their structure, the blinds will increase in one way or another, just like in Turbo tournaments where the blinds usually increase every 5 minutes instead of 10. This means that the fewer hands there are to play with, the sooner you will reach the prizes.

PPPoker has recently launched a new modality called SpinsUp, among which there are two types of Spins: PPST SpinUP, tournaments where all the clubs in the union share tables; and, on the other hand, SpinUp that take place at private tables in the particular club where you want to play.

In our clubs you will find 16 levels of blinds, although in each one they will progressively increase in a different way, ranging from 2 to 5 minutes. In addition, there are different Stakes that can be played within the SpinsUp and within each club:

Time 2 Win (USD)

Spins PPST 2, 5 y 10
Spins of 3, 5, 10, 15 y 20

Macacos (AUD)

Spins PPST 2, 5 y 10
Spins of 1, 2, 3, 5 y 10

It should be noted that in SpinsUp, the Prize Multipliers also vary according to their probabilities. Here you can see the odds table at PPPoker SpinUp:

What is Spin and Go

A spin and go tournament is a poker competition that is characterised by its frenetic nature. It is played in a very fast way and has multipliers that allow the winner to increase the final prize.

These games are designed to enjoy a greater dynamism, reducing the number of players (usually no more than 3 players compete for the pot) and adding extra excitement thanks to the multipliers, which can magnify the rewards.

Spin and go poker is a perfect game for those who want to temporarily leave aside the long poker games and are looking for more direct fun. The games are fast-paced, intense and end early, restarting when the prize pool has been dealt.

Spin and Go: odds you need to know

Now that you know what spin and go is, it’s time to know a bit more about the odds. Yes, they are always present in a game like poker, even in such a casual game.

In NonStopPoker spin and go, the odds of a particular multiplier coming up are as follows:

  • Multiplier x2: a 50.7% chance of a multiplier coming up
  • Multiplier x3: 38.8% chance of occurrence
  • Multiplier x5: 9.9% chance of occurrence
  • Multiplier x10: 0.5% chance of occurring
  • Multiplier x100: 0.1% chance of occurrence
  • Multiplier x1000: 0.0005% chance of occurrence

This table corresponds to the so-called SpinsUp, a new type of spin and go game, which differentiates between the PPST SpinUp, tournaments where all the clubs in the union share a table, and the SpinUp, which take place on private tables.

In each of the available clubs it is possible to find 16 levels of blinds, which can increase gradually during the first minutes of the game. And there are different types of stakes that can be played within the SpinsUp and within each club.

Spin and Go preflop tables

The preflop tables for spin and go games can help you decide whether to push or fold in a given situation. They are especially useful if you haven’t got a read on your opponents, which is a common occurrence in hyper-turbo games.

The preflop tables in spin and go games will show different values depending on which player and which position is being referenced. Thus, the button table has nothing to do with the small blind.

These tables are, in any case, indicative and complementary to the readings that the player can obtain from the opponents during the games.

Spin and Go strategy

Although the premise of spin and go games is to let yourself go and enjoy poker in a different way, with small games but full of rhythm, that does not mean that the brains and tactics to win are left aside. The fact is that spin and go poker has a strong strategic component.

The best strategy for winning at spin and go is to set a profit target. Many amateur poker players have found spins difficult to master precisely because they have not set a profit limit that can limit the volume of bets and winnings.

Any strategies you apply to a game of spin and go need to be when you are focused, as the speed at which the game is played means that the mental toll is very high.

Scheduling your sessions, studying heads-up play and not folding on the button are other keys that can help you shape your ultimate strategy for winning at spins.
